Can you tell give us a little background on how you got started singing country music?

Being raised in Texas, it’s always been part of my life.  When I decided I wanted to pursue a career in this crazy industry, I was fortunately introduced to my INCREDIBLE producer, Dean Sams, of Lonestar.  Working with him was a phenomenal learning experience and one of the big reasons my career is where it is today!

What is a typical day like for you on the road?

Hectic!  Flexibility becomes a constant word in your vocabulary, but I absolutely love it.  I take advantage of being in new places and always try to explore.

Who are your biggest musical influences?

Hands down, Faith Hill.  I go to her album "Take Me As I am" when I need inspiratiion.

If you could collaborate with one artist, who would it be and why?

The list is way too long and listen to too many genres to pick just one!  I would absolutely love to work with Brantley Gilbert or Colt Ford.  Along the lines of Texas Country, who wouldn't want to collaborate with Pat Green?

Your song Kickin' and Screamin' is really awesome, can you tell us about it?

It’s my first single, and I absolutely LOVE this song!  The lyrics embody everything I enjoy about country music; it’s real, relatable, and fun!  I also love it because we are shooting a music video, lyric video, and a dance mix may t be in the works!

Are there any upcoming shows you are really excited about?  We heard you are opening for Lonestar in the near future?  Fact or Fiction?

Fact!!  Which answers the question as to which show I’m most excited about!  How could I not be ecstatic about opening for a group I have loved and been listening to for years!?  The show is in Peachtree City, GA on November 10th!

When is your new album coming out? Can you tell us what to expect on the album and when?

I’m releasing a 5 song EP, Kickin’ and Screamin’ this month (which also the name of my first Single!)  The songs really reflect me…independent and optimistic with a touch of girly!  I’m going to be writing and recording some new songs over the coming months too, so stay tuned for my full length album coming out in the Spring of 2013.  I can’t wait to share everything with y’all!

What do you like to do in your leisure time?

The question is more, what do I not do!  I have a crazy sense of adventure!  When I have the time, I try to do international volunteering.

Last words???
